Stalling

I’m here, I’m still stalling,
I’m here, I’m still hoping,
I’m here, in all good faith,
The acceptance, I await.

I’m here, thinking tomorrow will be better,
I’m here, wishing for another last letter,
I’m here, still stalling,
I’m here, desire, kindling.

I’m here, come rain or shine,
I’m here, expecting the one, divine,
To come back, to hold my hand,
To help me out, anticipating, here, I stand.

I’m still stalling; I shall continue to do so,
I shall linger, even if my heart now feels woe,
I shall stall, I shall stopover,
Because something tells me that this is not yet over.

I shall remain, I will standstill,
Writing to you again and again, using my only skill,
I will stay back; I will continue to ask,
For forgivence, I shall not move past.
