Crumbling

Crumbling, is my spirit, collapsing,
Gone is my prided self-esteem,
When you left, everything changed,
An empty corridor, my heart became.

It is deteriorating, it knows only decay,
It is abandoned; it cannot find a way,
The delight, once again, to feel,
It tries so hard, but the regret, it cannot conceal.

So much has perished, after you abandoned,
Everything wilted, everything died,
All the vitality, from me, you absorbed,
And with it all, you did abscond.

So, now, I’m going to pieces,
Because to feel anything strong, I have ceased,
I cannot laugh, I cannot smile,
When all that you took, I can only cry.

Please come back, bring life back to me,
My repentence is genuine, please don't disagree,
I'm hoping that the smile to my face, you'll return,
I'm hoping you will charm me, I'm hoping you will not spurn.

Unforgiven

Do you know how much guilt, the unforgiven heart feels?
It twists, sighs, and it pleads,
Stabbing guilt, at my heels,
Hound me and scare, I squeal.

I cannot bear this incredible guilt, friend, it’s just too much!
They plague me constantly, my weak heart, they clutch,
They hand on, continually reminding,
Of what a horrendous mistake I committed, of how much sorrow, I did bring.

Unforgiven souls are forever restless,
They can’t ever sleep, they can only express,
Their sorry, their repentance,
They can only find a small way, to show you their guilt, intense.

Don’t leave this soul, unforgiven,
Be kind, just enliven,
The spirit, that is now mortified,
Help her heal, please; she is sorry, that she lied!

Cannot Move on

The pen moves, but I cannot,
I am frozen here, in deep a thought,
Replaying it all in my head,
Trying so hard to understand.

Why, is it, that you don’t remember me?
When there never was an “I”, when there only was a “we”?
Togetherness, and countless happy times,
How could you suddenly forget, moments, sublime?

Here, I’m stuck, I cannot move on,
Because in my dreams, again you come,
My memory, you continually haunt,
Unlike you, my memory, is elephantine.

No, I cannot move on, until my apology is accepted,
I cannot move on until a 100 sorries, I say,
I cannot move on, until you fully comprehend,
The regret for my actions, until you forgive me, friend.

I cannot move on, but I’ll allow my pen to move,
I cannot move on, but I’ll allow my pen to soothe,
It’s OK, if you plain forget,
But before that, don’t leave me in debt…..

May the Stars Watch over you

May the stars watch over you, I once signed,
All my letters to you, those words were yours and mine.
They were our emblem, our little secret,
They spoke of eternal love, their meaning, a few, could interpret.

May the Stars watch over you, in every letter, I said,
Hoping that a smile to you, it would bring, once you read,
My words, which spoke to you.
My secret, my letters and my emotion, pure.

May the Stars watch over you, in every letter, I repeated,
So that god might hear my words, so that in respect, you might be treated,
Those words, with childish affection, I wrote,
In all my letters, in e-mails, in notes.

Because those words, are to me, special,
They are reserved, peculiar and very much personal.
Because these words, to everyone I don’t use,
If you see them in my letter, it means that I seek god to bless you.

Yes, I still wish for the stars watch over you,
I present you these words again, I hope you won’t refuse,
To accept my little gift, my souvenir,
Of the glorious times, we shared together.

Words

Do you remember, the testimonial you once wrote?
Your words, I remember, I can quote.
I lost that testimonial, friend, it is gone,
Just like you, from my world, it has withdrawn.

Words, that once professed,
Words, that once confessed,
Words, that through your mouth came,
Words, that through your voice, resonated,

Words, are all but lost,
Words, now engulfed,
By the shadow, that stretches,
To every corner, in creeps into my every verse.

Words might leave, and you might too,
The words lost, must be quite a few,
But my memory, every syllable holds,
They are etched there, permanent and bold.

Because even if you are gone, you are not,
I still cling to you, even if words are short,
Because as long as I can remember, nothing’s lost.
Even into crypt, if words you tossed.

Over?

Is it over, now, I question?
Then, why is it, that you beckon?
From so far away a land,
My attention, you unconsciously demand.

Is it mere imagination, then, everything that happened?
Did it only occur in my little head, there, did it also find it’s end?
All the trust, on you, that I bestowed,
Did it disappear, friend, did it all die in one row?

Are you really gone, then, wont you return?
To you, I still hold true concern,
Because whatever happens to you, always matters,
Because the past, the enchantress never forgets.

When you sleep, my invisible eyes watch over you,
They guard you, in silence, they view.
They hope that you never grow sick,
They wish for you to stay healthy, they never want to see you weak.

That is how much the enchantress still cares,
Because the past, the enchantress never forgets.
She still waits for your return,
Please, let everything not be over, she hums.

Hold my Hand

Hold my hand, please do stay,
Hold my hand, please don’t go away,
Because when you’re here, all is well,
When your gone, shall sound the feared knell.

Hold my hand, friend, through every thick and thin,
Hold my hand, so that a happier tune we may sing,
Because to my life, joy you bring,
So says my old violin.

Hold my hand friend, please come back,
Hold my hand, let’s not lose track,
May you not stray, May we not derail,
May the ecstasy and comfort return, I pray!

This is all I hope for; this is my simple wish,
Uttered in verse, to the one I miss,
A different era now begins, a New Year starts,
And I’m hoping that my sorry will melt your heart.
